New work: sea objects watercolor collection

sea shells watercolor illustration

For someone who never lived by the sea, travelling to the seaside and enjoying the salty blue waters and warm sand, was always a great pleasure since I was a child.

The watercolor piece above I painted back in 2017, it features various seashells and tiny corals that I treasured over the years, colored from ivory to beige, to brown.

The second artwork is more recent, I painted this one for the client, as a part of custom watercolor illustrations that I’m offering. My favorite part of the project was to paint all the little details and textures, that these objects have.

Sea side inspired watercolor painting - coral, shells and starfish

Species included here: star fish, sea urchin shell, sea shell, composed around the much bigger coral tree. I love using limited watercolor palettes for the entire artwork, so the objects instantly feel connected to one another.

Hope you enjoyed to see what I am working on these days!
